Judy Tallent, a long-time Clinton County High School teacher and guidance counselor, has been named to the top position at the Somerset Community College Clinton Center.

Tallent’s appointment was announced last week by Dr. Jo Marshall, President and CEO of Somerset Community College.

“I am honored and excited that Somerset Community College has given me the opportunity to serve in this capacity. I look forward to working with those individuals who choose to continue their education at the SCC Clinton Center,” commented Tallent.

The Clinton Center is located in the Snow Community of Clinton County on Ky. 90, near the intersection of Hwy. 639.

Tallent, who began her duties as director with the start of the current semester earlier this month, has been with Somerset Community College since August 2008 as the Director of Upward Bound.

“We are very pleased to have Judy lead our Clinton Center.
