Genevive Grider, 73, Decatur, Illinois and a native of Albany, passed away Friday, March 2, 2012 in Decatur. She was the wife of the late Chester A. Grider.

She is survived by three daughters, Linda “Susie” Curtis, Bloomington, IL; Dianna “Rose” Grider, Decatur, IL; Bonnie Yowell, Cerro Gordo, IL; two sons, Lonnie G. Grider, Cerro Gordo, IL; Bobby G. Grider, Decatur, IL; a brother, J.B. Covey, Rossville, GA; a sister, Judy Jernigan, Winchester, KY; also 13 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 8, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Talbott Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Martin officiating. Final resting place in Albany Cemetery. Visitation will be 12 noon Thursday until time of service at Talbott Funeral Home in Albany.
