Lonnie James Jones, 66, Albany, and formerly of McCreary County, passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at Clinton County Hospital. He was the son of the late Rease Jones and Emma (Phillips) Jones and a member of Gospel Independent Baptist Church. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Darrell and Raymond Jones and two sisters, Almalene Jones and Ina Matthews.

He is survived by his wife, JoAnn Jones, Albany; two daughters, Jerry Jones, Stearns, KY; Eric Gregory, Coopersville, KY; three daughters, Kathy Williamson, Revelo, KY; Lisa Spradlin, Strunk, KY; Kimberly Gregory, Stearns, KY; five brothers, Leamon, Gary and Doyle Jones, all of Stearns, KY; Bronnie and Denzil Jones, both of Monticello, KY; six sisters, Eva Maxwell and Addie Watson, both of Stearns, KY; Alline Branscum, Monticello, KY; Netty Thomas, Chots Worth, GA; Lena Whittington, Franklin, TN; Linda Mullins, Nashville, TN; also eight grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 1 p.m. at McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. David Vaughn and Bro. Melvin Daniel officiating. Final resting place in Phillips Cemetery. Arrangements made through McCreary County Funeral Home of Whitley City, Kentucky.
