Shelley Nichole Thrasher, 30, Louisville, Kentucky, formerly of Burkesville and a native of Albany, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2012 as the result of an automobile accident. She was preceded in death by her father, Danny Thrasher and maternal grandmother, Ruth Walker.

She is survived by her mother, Tayra Thrasher; a sister, Stephanie Thrasher, both of Burkesville, KY; her fiance, Dustin Overacker, Louisville, KY; paternal grandparents, Betty and Fred Thrasher, Somerset, Kentucky and formerly of Albany; also a niece and several aunts and uncles.

Funeral services were held Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Ballou and Stotts Funeral Home with Brandon Thompson officiating. Final resting place in Christian Chapel Cemetery in Cumberland County. Arrangements made through Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home of Burkesville, Kentucky.
