Daisy Aline Smith, 88, John Cummings Rd., Albany, passed away Friday, January 21, 2011 at Clinton County Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester A. Smith and a son, Arnold Smith.

She is survived by two sons, Lannie and Denton Smith; two daughters, Julane Murphy and Londa (Billy) Kerr, all of Albany; a sister, Ruby Jean (Easter) Eads, Monticello, KY; also eight grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Monday, January 24, 2011 at 1 p.m. at Weldon Haddix Funeral Home with Revs. Donnie Shelley, Charles Huddleston, Derrick Peyton and Bob Thrasher officiating. Final resting place in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Arrangements made through Weldon Haddix Funeral Home of Albany.
