Bat Dawgs lose four in a row

The Bat Dawgs were plagued with errors Monday as Adair County won the ball game in five innings, 16-2.

Clinton County has also put an “L” in the loss column in its previous three games, for a running total of four games in a row.

The Bat Dawgs lost to Green County on March 19, 15-0, Southwestern on March 20, and Wayne County on March 23, 15-2.

Clinton County’s next game will be on Thursday at Somerset against the Briar Jumpers.

Craig Ostertag went for a pop fly in left field Monday, but was unable to make the grab. The Bulldogs hosted Adair County at John Emmitt Polston Field and lost to the Indians, 16-2.

In the above photo, Parker Means missed the tag on a runner advancing to third. The runner eventually scored.
