Players and parents affiliated with an independent baseball team, the Clinton County Crushers, were busy slinging water and soap last Saturday as they held a car wash to raise funds for the upcoming baseball season. The group stayed busy most of the day cleaning cars for donations. The Crushers play home games at the Clinton County VFW field and travel throughout the region to compete in games and tournaments during the spring and summer.
