Mary Ilene Butler, 85, Speck Rd., Albany, passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at Clinton County Hospital. She was the wife of the late Elmer “Whitey” Butler and a member of Lee’s Chapel United Methodist Church. She was also preceded in death by a step-son, Morris Butler, special nephew, Gary Dale Butler, four sisters, three brothers and two infant children.

She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Denise and Kirby Beaty, Nicholasville, KY; Janice Davis, Albany; Patty and Chris Clark, Jamestown, TN; two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Donna Butler and Donnie and Linda Butler, all of Albany; two step-children, Doris (Leroy) Leach, New Castle, IN; Marshall (Carol) Butler, Linton, TN; 19 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren; special nieces, Juanita (Jim) Hickman, Beverly (Steven) Pearce, Ruby Kay (Sammy) Sheffield and Carol (Larry) Brown and several other nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Friday, March 30, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Talbott Funeral Home with Bro. Wayne Shelley and Bro. Rodney Koger officiating. Final resting place in Peolia Cemetery. Arrangements made through Talbott Funeral Home of Albany.
