4-H youth development specialist for camping

Spring has sprung and before you know it, summer will be here. 4-H Camp is a great way to fill those lazy summer days. At 4-H Camp, young people learn independence, responsibility, have a lot of fun and make many friends.

4-H camps are open to all Kentucky youth between the ages of nine and 14. Many exciting activities and adventures await campers. 4-H’ers can spend their days participating in activities ranging from swimming to nature hikes. Not only do many children find these activities fun, but they will likely learn new skills and develop a greater appreciation for the environment and wildlife.

4-H personnel want your child to have camping experience that is not only memorable, but safe. All camp staff and volunteers are trained and undergo background checks prior to camp. Each camp location will have an on-site emergency medical technician at all times to take care of campers’ needs.

Campers will attend one of four regionally-located camps. All four camps have been accredited since 2005 by the American Camp Association.

4-H members (ages 9-14) from Clinton County will attend Lake Cumberland 4-H Camp in Jabez from May 28th-June 1st. Registration forms are due by May 11th and the cost for the week is $175.00.
