On March 8th and 9th the Health Sciences students at the Clinton County Area Technology Center along with their Advisor Billie Frye, RN attended the Kentucky HOSA State Leadership Conference held at the Crowne Plaza in Louisville. The students who participated at the conference included, pictured above, left to right: Angela Irving, Courtney Bowlin, Darrian Dalton (President), and Logan Crouch (Vice-President).

The students participated in competitions including: CPR/First Aid and Career Health Display. The students also participated in a benefit walk to raise awareness for juvenile diabetes. The conference provided the students an excellent opportunity to view the many different fields of health care, talk with college representatives from various colleges in the state of Kentucky, and participate in a community service event.
