Ida “Billie” Sloan, 85, New Castle, Indiana and a native of Burkesville, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2012 in New Castle. She was the wife of the late Kay Sloan, a member of the Baptist Church in Knightstown, Indiana and was also preceded in death by an infant son and five sisters.

She is survived by a son, Larry E. (Faye) Sloan, Anderson, IN; a sister, Etta (Lyle) Dotson, Jackson, MI; four grandchildren, Brian K. Sloan, Knightstown, IN; Tammy Goodpastor, Yorktown, IN; Jody Sloan, New Castle, IN; David Sloan, Louisville, KY; also six great-grandchildren, three step-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
