Ruth Anne Harlan Meeks, 58, Somerset, Kentucky and a native of Albany, passed away Thursday, April 19, 2012 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Arthur and Annie Ewing Harlan and a member of High Street Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, David, Baylos and Howard Harlan and a sister, Mary Flowers.

She is survived by her husband, Nathan Meeks, Somerset, KY; a son, Steve Meeks, Lexington, KY; a daughter, Jenny (Christopher) Cord, Georgetown, KY; a brother, Norman (Doris) Harlan, East Peoria, IL; a sister, Eva (Duane) Bristow, Albany; a granddaughter, Kasey Anne Cord; two sisters-in-law, Wilma Jay Harlan and Betty Harlan and a brother-in-law, Dan Flowers; also several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Interment was in Somerset Cemetery.
