Bobby “Bimbo” Claborn, 59, Huntersville Rd., Albany, passed away Saturday, April 21, 2012 at Clinton County Hospital. He was the son of the late Bob and Ruby Claborn and attended Locust Grove Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Doris Boles and Diane Claborn

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Claborn, Albany; two daughters and sons-in-law, Bobbie Carol (Johnny) Garner, Jamestown, KY; Pattie Elaine (Adam) Upchurch, Albany; a son, Randy Dewayne Claborn, Albany; five sisters, Addie Marie Ireland, Louisville, KY; Sue Young, Jean Littrell, Pearl Ferguson and Donna Cross, all of Albany; a brother, Otis Claborn, Albany; one granddaughter, Carly Upchurch.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Talbott Funeral Home with Bro. Wm. Corb Hicks and Bro. Melvin Daniel officiating. Final resting place in Peolia Cemetery. Arrangements made through Talbott Funeral Home of Albany.
