Bat Dawgs drop 11 straight games

The throw to second was too late to get the runner, but Ethan Cook kept the ball in front of him to keep the runner from moving to third on Tuesday against Metcalfe County. The Bat Dawgs lost the game, 11-0, in five innings. The team is 2-17 on the year.

Wayne Stearns took the mound Thursday against Russell County. The Bat Dawgs lost the contest, 18-2 in five innings.

Jonathan Branham made contact with a pitch during Clinton County’s game against Metcalfe County on Tuesday, April 17.

The Bat Dawgs will be on the road this week, traveling to Metcalfe County on Thursday and Cumberland County this weekend to play in the Fred Capps Tournament. Clinton County will be back at home on Monday, April 30, to host Monroe County.
