The Clinton County Sheriff’s Department discovered a meth lab Saturday afternoon at the residence of Grant Hurt.

Sheriff’s Deputy Steve Martin said an anonymous call came in to the sheriff’s department about a suspected meth lab. After consent to search was confirmed by Hurt, the contents of a meth lab were discovered. According to the sheriff’s department, Hurt was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of a meth precursor, manufacturing meth, possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and persistent felony offender. Martin said other charges are pending when lab results are conclusive.
