This year Tiffany Peters, Coordinator of National Day of Prayer for Clinton County, gave the students of Albany Elementary School the opportunity to participate in a poster contest if they chose to do so.

The students showed great interest with many entries being received. The posters were judged anonymously by active members of the community and prizes awarded for first place of $20, secnd place of $10, and third place of $5, for each grade level, first grade through fourth grade.

The winning posters will also be on display at the National Day of Prayer event which will take place on Thursday May 3rd at 6:30 pm at the Clinton County Courthouse on the square. In case of inclement weather, the event will then be held at the Clinton County Learning Center. Congratulations to all winners and a big thanks to all who participated and made this a possibility for the students this year!
