Eighty band members from Clinton County Schools traveled to the University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg April 21 to participate in Kentucky Music Educators’ Association Solo and Ensemble Festival. These band members performed 87 musical compositions in individual and small group combinations for six professional music judges. For their efforts, the students received 46 Distinguished ratings and 41 Proficient ratings, the highest possible scores. Congratulations are in order for these student musicians that go above and beyond the ordinary to achieve such noteworthy success.
