George Wendell Stockton, 76, Howard Marcum Road, Albany, passed away Saturday, May 5, 2012 at his residence. He was a member of the Nazarene Church and preceded in death by two brothers, Edgar and Samuel Barlow Stockton.

He is survived by his wife, Ruby Marcum Stockton, Albany; a son, George Dale (Sherri) Stockton, Lewisville, IN; two daughters, Deborah Ann (Tim) Neel, Lewisville, IN; Amber (Eddie) Durham, Albany; three sisters, Pauline Hasty, New Castle, IN; Lillie Mae Patton, FL; Maggie Easter, Moreland, IN; also six grandchildren, one great-grandchild and five step-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Weldon Haddix Funeral Home with Rev. Shane Smith and Rev. Gene Bennett officiating. Final resting place in Peolia Cemetery with Military Rites. Arrangements made through Weldon Haddix Funeral Home of Albany.
