Lady Bat Dawgs put up seven game streak

Amber Allen made contact with the ball during Thursday’s game against McCreary County. The Lady Bat Dawgs have improved to 26-8 on the season and will wrap up the regular season this week. Clinton County will play Cumberland County in the first round of the district tournament on Tuesday, May 22, 2012, at Metcalfe County.

Rachel Stearns made contact with the ball during Clinton County’s game against McCreary County on Tuesday, May 8, 2012. The Lady Bat Dawgs moved to 26-8 on the year, with only two games remaining in the regular season.

Senior Kasey Conner tagged second base and made a throw to first to turn the double play Tuesday against McCreary County. The Lady Bat Dawgs won the game by a final of 5-1.

Taylor Delk was called safe at the plate last Tuesday as the Lady Bat Dawgs hosted McCreary County.Clinton County won the game 5-1 and are now on a seven game winning streak with two regular season games remaining before the first round of the district tournament gets underway May 22 at Metcalfe County. Clinton County, number one seed, will take on Cumberland County, number four seed, in the first round of the district tournament.
