Sue L. Smith Lee, 69, Albany, passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Willie Martin and Florine Rigney Smith and was also preceded in death by her husband, Johnny “Jay” Lee and a daughter, Lynnie Joann Lee. Also three sisters, Eva Dean Savage, Geneive Guinn, Hazel Guffey and two brothers, Harvey and Evertt Smith.

She is survived by two daughters, Josie Lee and Patsy Creekmore; two sisters, Linda Faye (Bobby) Lee and Mary Ruth Denney; two brothers, Jimmy (Charlotte) Smith and Lonnie (Carol) Smith; three grandchildren, Brandy Jolene Lee, and Courtney and Michael (Casey) Creekmore; also several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Sunday, June 3, 2012 at Campbell-New Funeral Home with Bro. Donald McGill officiating. Final resting place in Maupin Cemetery. Arrangements made through Campbell-New Funeral Home of Albany. Online condolences may be made at www.campbell-new.com.
