Above, Sheriff Rick Riddle collected remains of a meth lab on Saturday. No arrests were made, but Riddle said arrests are pending depending on evidence sent to the Kentucky State Police Lab in London, Kentucky. Riddle said three jars of liquid substance were found at the scene and samples were sent to the lab for testing.
This is the fourth meth lab taken down by the Clinton County Sheriff’s Department, Albany Police Department and the Kentucky State Police in the past two weeks.
One lab was taken down on January 24 as KSP Detectives from the KSP West Drug Enforcement, KSP Drug Task Force and the Clinton County Sheriff’s Department responded to 447 Concord Road in Albany after an anonymous tip was received regarding the manufacture of methamphetamine. Detectives dismantled the lab.
“It seems like meth is on the rise again,” Sheriff Riddle said. “We are working with the Albany Police and the KSP to try and get everyone we can.”
Investigations are still ongoing on all cases and arrests are still pending.
