Wilda Zell Bowden Gernt, 75, Albany, and a native of Manson, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, June 7, 2012. She was the daughter of the late Raymond and Delia Linder Bowden and a member of Clear Fork Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Wanda Bobette Copley, two brothers, Ward and Erchel Bowden and a sister, Wanda Conway.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Gernt; her children, Robbey Copley, Deborah Copley Gibson, Lisa Sheriff and Bruce Gernt; her grandchildren, Robert Copley, Lynn Maloley, Stephen Stanhope, Tahmara and Morghan Gernt, Nikki Carpenito and Dylan and J.R. Sheriff; also two great-grandchildren, Autumn Lynn Maloley and Jaxon Slater.

A memorial service was held Saturday, June 9, 2012 at Clear Fork Baptist Church with Pastor Bob Sawyer officiating. Arrangements made through Campbell-New Funeral Home of Albany. Online condolences may be made at www.campbell-new.com.
