Berel Nation, 78, Burkesville, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2011 in Burkesville. He was a member of Sexton Fork Baptist Church and also attended Gospel Independent Baptist Church and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his wife, Lucy Riddle Nation; a son, Tony (Lisa) Nation; a granddaughter, Kristie Nation; special friend, Phillip Holman, all of Burkesville; also locally by a niece, Barbara Pierce of Albany.

Funeral services were held Sunday, January 30, 2011 at 1 p.m. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home with Bro. Thomas Smith and Bro. Sam Booher officiating. Final resting place in Garner Cemetery in Cumberland County. Arrangements made through Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home of Burkesville.
