Two charges in connection with local break-in

On Wednesday, June 13 at approximately 8:30 p.m., while on routine patrol, Albany Police Officers Mark Bell and Jim Guffey noticed a suspicious vehicle backed into a building located on West Water Street, that belongs to Jimmy R. Patton of Albany.

Officers Bell and Guffey stopped and questioned the individual and two arrests were made based on their investigation.

Cody H. Owens of Albany and Tammy York of Russell Springs were arrested and charged with Burglary-3rd degree, a class D felony, Criminal Trespass-2nd degree, a class A misdemeanor, and Theft by Unlawful taking-All Others, a class D felony.

Both subjects were transported to Clinton County Jail and lodged. The investigation is continuing by the Albany Police Department.
