Gene Parrish, 80, Fairgrounds Rd., Albany, passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at Clinton County Hospital. He was the son of the late Robert and Bertha Parrish.

He is survived by his wife, Sallie Parrish, Albany; two step-daughters, Shirley Shelton, Albany; Greta Tabb, PA; two step-sons, Roger Roberts, Louisville, KY; Gary Roberts, CA; six sisters, Thelma Capps, Burkesville, KY; Donnie Furmall, IN; Maxine Tate and Connie Stearns, both of Louisville, KY; Helen Lowhorn and Jerley Lee, both of Albany; four brothers, Ronnie Parrish, Myrtle Beach, SC; Joe Ray, Pop and Mote Parrish, all of Albany; also several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Friday, June 29, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at Talbott Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Sexton officiating. Final resting place in Parrish Family Cemetery. Arrangements made through Talbott Funeral Home of Albany.
