Members of the Dale Hollow Lake Boat Owners Association, the Dale Hollow Yacht Club, has announced the kick-off for its annual toy drive.

The drive officially got underway with the announcement to its members for the past July 4 holiday period.

The toy drive has been an on-going effort for several years and traditionally collects several new toys by year’s end that are donated to the local Christmas At Home program that includes giving toys to underprivileged Clinton County children just before Christmas.

Anyone wishing to donate a toy to the club’s efforts may do so by contacting Dana Turner or Lawonna McGalliard, at Wisdom Dock in Albany.

It is requested that donations be in the form of new, unwrapped toys.

The toy drive is held annually, and is an effort for the members to contribute to the Albany and Clinton County community that so many of them call “home” during the summer months of the year while they vacation on Dale Hollow Lake.

The club is based out of Wisdom Dock.
