Joseph Earl Payton, 56, Burkesville, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, July 28, 2012 at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, Kentucky.

He is survived by two daughters, Carol Youngman, Greensburg, IN; Kelsey Payton, Louisville, KY; a son, Joseph William Payton, Connersville, IN; a brother, Robert Payton; also seven grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 4, 2012 at Metamora Church of Christ in Metamora, Indiana at 1 p.m. Eastern Time. There will be no visitation. A.F. Crow and Son Funeral Home of Glasgow, Kentucky is in charge of arrangements.
