Kathleen Stearns Conner, 78, New Castle, Indiana and formerly of Albany, passed away Friday, January 28, 2011. She was the daughter of the late Luther and Oda Marcum Stearns and was also preceded in death by a son, Terry Stearns.

She is survived by a son, William Lee Conner, MD; three daughters, Charlotte Duff, Houston, TX; Carole Conner, New Castle, IN; Janet Conner, ID; two brothers, Keith Stearns, Kokomo, IN; Kirby Stearns, Jacksonville, FL; four sisters, Kolema Davis, Taylorsville, KY; Kate Dowell, Ramelle Cole and Estelle Groce, all of Albany; also seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services were held Saturday, February 5, 2011 at Weldon Haddix Funeral Home with Bro. David Stearns officiating. Final resting place in McWhorter Cemetery. Arrangements made through Weldon Haddix Funeral Home of Albany.
