Several cancer survivors, their family members and Clinton County Relay for Life team members held a balloon lift-off to honor all cancer survivors last week at the Albany First Baptist Church.

The balloons each contained a special message with information about the upcoming 2011 Clinton County Relay for Life event.

This year’s Relay for Life is scheduled for a 12 hour run from 7:00 p.m. Friday, May 13, until 7:00 a.m., Saturday, May 14, at the Mountain View Recreation Park.
