Melba Scott Speck, 79, Albany, passed away Saturday, August 4, 2012 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky. She was the wife of the late Keith Speck and a member of Albany United Methodist Church.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Rita and Daniel Johnson, Nancy, KY; four sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry Speck, Winchester, KY; Johnny and Nancy Speck, Greg and Dana Speck, all of Somerset, KY; Dale and Linda Speck, Albany; a brother, Sid Scott, Albany; also 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Talbott Funeral Home with Rev. John Mark Toby officiating. Final resting place in Memorial Hill Cemetery. Arrangements made through Talbott Funeral Home of Albany.
