Narcotics Anonymous group meets each Monday and Tuesday night at 7 p.m. at the First Christian Church in Albany. These meetings are open to anyone wanting to address their drug and alcohol problems.

Celebrate Recovery

Gary Jones, Veterans Benefit Field Representative for Clinton and surrounding counties, will be in Glasgow at 216 E. Public Square, Lower Level, every day except for the first Tuesday, second Monday, second Thursday and third Monday each month. Zumba classes offered
No Zumba classes February 10. Zumba classes will be held on Mondays and Thursdays from 6:15 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. February 14, AES cafeteria; February 17, AES gym; February 21, AES cafeteria; February 24, AES gym; and February 28, AES cafeteria. Optional-before each class beginning at 5:45 p.m. Zumba basic step routines will be covered. (Again, this is optional and offered to beginners and/or participants who are relatively new to the class.) What is Zumba? Zumba is an aerobic fitness program using music based on salsa, meringue, cumbia, raggaeton, calypso, soca, samba, African, cha cha, hip hop and other music. Classes are offered for people of all abilities. Classes are for adults and students 9th grade and up. Having a dance background is not required, in fact, most participants won’t have any dance background. Fees are $5 per class. How do you register? Just show up for class. (Prior to your first attended Zumba class, please arrive a few minutes early to complete a one-time registration form.) Lead instructor is Stephanie Likins. For more information call 387-9622.
