Gladys Adams Rearden Guffey, 63, Albany, passed away Saturday, September 1, 2012 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Isac and Lucille Clarkson Adams and was also preceded in death by two brothers, James and Earl Adams.

She is survived by her husband, Johnnie Guffey, Albany; four daughters, Helen Short, Beverly Colter, Betty Rearden and Sally Bean, all of Red Boiling Springs, TN; a son, David Rearden, Lafayette, TN; two sisters, Helen Wells, Harrodsburg, KY; Ruth Webb, Tompkinsville, KY; two brothers, Joe Adams, Harrodsburg, KY; Robert Adams, Tompkinsville, KY; also four grandchildren, Kelsey Colter and Donovan, Sevastian and Isabella Rearden.

Funeral services were held Monday, September 3, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Anderson and Son Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Thrasher and Joe Rearden officiating. Arrangements made through Anderson and Son Funeral Home of Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee.
