Bertha Marie Losey Shelton, 92, Albany, passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late John Amos and Emily Mary Volunteers Losey and wife of the late Desra D. Shelton. She was also preceded in death by two daughters, Martha Shelton and Ima Jean Riddle and two sons, Arthur and Elmer Shelton.

She is survived by a son, Paul (Sherri) Shelton, Albany; two daughters, Dovie (Rodger) Anderson, Martinsville, IN; Geneve “Gennie” (David) Beaty, Grimsly, TN; two daughters-in-law, Jeanette and Phyllis Shelton; a sister-in-law, Linda Guffey, all of Albany; also 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Saturday, September 1, 2012 at Campbell-New Funeral Home with Bro. Charles Tone officiating. Final resting place in Shelton Cemetery. Arrangements made through Campbell-New Funeral Home of Albany. Online condolences may be made at www.campbell-new.com.
