The hearse carrying the body of Circuit Court Judge Eddie C. Lovelace circled the Clinton County Courthouse Friday afternoon en route to the Memorial Hill Cemetery following funeral services at the Albany First Baptist Church. Lovelace passed away last Monday evening in Nashville due to complications following a stroke he suffered the previous week. Lovelace had served in some form of elected capacity for 46 years. Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear will appoint a circuit judge to fill the unexpired term of Judge Lovelace. A complete death notice for Eddie C. Lovelace appears this week on page 10.
