Clinton County Senior Laura Groce went up for a kill during Monday night’s opening round of the district tournament held at Lindle Castle Gymnasium. The Volley Dawgs took on Metcalfe County and took the match to four games. Clinton County won the first game, 25-23, but lost three in a row to lose the match, 25-21, 25-16 and 25-19. The team finished the season with a 12-22 record.
