What starts as a lazy day at the beach, quickly turns into mystery and adventure when the search for Blackbeard’s treasure begins! Tales both past and present lead us on a search of untold riches. Just where has Blackbeard and his crew hidden their legendary treasure?
The local cast features Austin Cash as Blackbeard and Baylee Baker, Kaylee Burchett, Mary Willen Cross, Kelsie Hickman, and McKenna Moons as his Bearded Pirate Crew. Drew Mathews, Deon Thomas, Daniel Thomas, Jeremiah Shelton, Devin Huckaby, Dalton Gregory, Gavin Melton, and Jameson Johnson are the Sailors. Carrie McClellan, Alison Mason, Taya Cook, Dana Guffey, Chandra Tallent, and Carmen Tallent are the Beach Bums.
Also a gang of nautical creatures joins the fun! Christina Speck, Caitlin Halloran, Christin Shelton, Annie Caroline Cross, Jaden Mullins, and Rheagan Leveridge are the Cranky Crabs. Renee Cash and Justin Jackson are the Cantankerous Crocodiles.
Regan Page, Kendra Bertram, Savannah Mercer, Kendra Cross, Paige Hicks, Rachel Sawyers, Jessica Criswell, and Kaylee Latham are the Melodious Mermaids. Moriah Moons, Taylor Cross, Hailey Cole, Kayli Hadley, and Autumn McCutchen are the Secretive Seaweed Creatures.
Sadie Moons, Evan Little, Ella Rose Smith, Colton Jones, Tatum Harlan, Jonna Upchurch, Maggie Cross, Sami Criswell, Peyton Johnson, Emily Saywers, Cambria Moses, Ashton Daniels, Sabrina York, and Dakota York are the Precocious Parrots!
Kylie Cole, Sunshine Bell, and Rebecca Shelton have served as assistant directors throughout the week. Emma McClellan is Sam the Clam, and an assistant director.
BLACKBEARD THE PIRATE will be presented at 7:00 PM at the Clinton County Learning Center on Friday, October 26. Tickets are $5.00 and $2.00 for children. Tickets will be available at the door on the night of the show.
