Peolia United Methodist Church, located on Hwy. 738, will honor a program, “I Too Am A Kentuckian” to honor veterans at 6:30 p.m. Friday, November 9. During the Civil War, President Abraham Lincoln was unpopular in Kentucky, but when he said, “I, too, am a Kentuckian,” no one could dispute it. The Kentucky Humanities Council, Inc. and the Veterans Memorial Museum presents Jim Sayre as Abraham Lincoln. The public is invited to attend.
