Thanksgiving is here again and that means the holidays are now in full swing. It also means the next big holiday is Christmas, which means Santa Claus will soon be making his annual one-night appearance on December 24, now just a month away.

Carrying on with tradition, the Clinton County News is playing the part of Santa’s helpers for all the children by making sure their Christmas list gets to the North Pole before St. Nick makes his rounds on Christmas Eve.

Santa letters can begin being forwarded to the Clinton County News beginning at the opening of business on Monday, November 26. The deadline to receive letters … to assure they will be published in the annual special Christmas edition, will be at 4 p.m. Monday, December 3. Any letters received after that time are not guaranteed to be included in the Christmas edition that will be published on December 20.

As always, all children can submit letters, either individually or in groups (schools, daycare centers, etc.) and all letters should be legible with a phone number included somewhere on the correspondence in case there is a question as to the content.

Santa letters can be forwarded to the Clinton County News in the following ways: email to: gpcompany@kih.net; fax to 387-7949; mail to Clinton County News, Letters to Santa, P.O. Box 360, Albany, Ky. 42602; or bring the letters by the news office at 116 N. Washington Street during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Again, the deadline for Letters to Santa, to assure publication in the Christmas edition, is Monday, December 3 at 4 p.m.

From everyone at the Clinton County News, have a safe and very Merry Christmas!
