Bro. Bob Chaplin, 72, Monticello, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, February 20, 2011 at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. He was a well known minister in Clinton and Wayne counties and was preceded in death by four sisters and a brother.

He is survived by his wife, Eva Chaplin, Monticello, KY; four daughters, Julie (Bill) Viars, Somerset, KY; Connie Chaplin, Monticello, KY; Sarndra (Mark) Upchurch, Stanford, KY; Rebecca Morrow, Bowling Green, KY; eight sons, Tony (Marilyn) Chaplin, Somerset, KY; Clay (Linda) Chaplin; Paul (Martha) Chaplin; Jimmy (Tammy) Chaplin; Tommy (Jerrina) Chaplin; Johnny (Jennifer) Chaplin; Matthew and Lonnie (Rachel) Chaplin, all of Monticello, KY; three sisters, Bonnie Curtis, Albany; Evelyn McGinnis, Monticello, KY; Patsy Claywell, OH; two brothers, Earl Chaplin, Butler, KY; Jesse Murl Chaplin, Monticello, KY; also 23 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at 1 p.m. Central time at Talbott Funeral Home with Bros. Ronnie Gray, Frankie Guffey and Mike Rigney officiating. Final resting place in Davis Chapel Cemetery in Clinton County. Arrangements made through Talbott Funeral Home of Albany.
