Public library hosting special events

The Clinton County Library has many special events planned beginning this Tuesday, November 27 when Dr. William Montell will be signing his books, old and new. Dr. Montell has made many appearances at the library and always has many interesting stories related to living in our part of Kentucky. Dr. Montell will be at the library beginning at 3 p.m. until closing at 5:30 p.m.

On Tuesday, December 4, Albany native Jelina Guffey Melton will showcase her children’s book entitled, “Carson the Cowboy.” Jelina will be at the library with her copies of her book to sell and sign.

Be with us Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at 1 p.m. for Senior Crime College. Have you ever received mail that was suspicious? Then you need to come to Senior Crime College. In one hour you will learn today’s latest scams, how to spot them, and what to do if you become a victim of a scam. Speaker Lori Farris will be here to answer any questions, or examine any mail that has concerned you. Don’t be a victim, come to Senior Crime College.
