The long anticipated start of the 2012-13 basketball season arrived this week with the Bulldogs picking up a 63-56 overtime win over the Rockets of Rockcastle County Monday night. The Lady Dawgs weren’t as fortunate in their season opener, losing Monday to the Lady Wildcats at Franklin- Simpson. Both teams play at home this Friday night, hosting the Australian National Teams. Details of Monday night’s games can be found this week in SPORTS.
