Freda McFall Simmons, 75, Louisville, Kentucky and a native of Albany, passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2012 in Louisville. She was the daughter of the late Marcus and Annie McWhorter McFall and was preceded in death by two sisters, Gladys Neal and Anna Simmons and three brothers, Walter, George and Hulian McFall.

She is survived by her husband, John Lester Simmons, Jr.; a son, Tracy Simmons, both of Louisville, KY; two sisters, Reba Jones and Sue Wright; a brother, Rodell McFall, all of Albany; two godchildren, Cameron and Mallory Banks and nieces Amy Banks and Jennifer Wright.

Funeral services were held Saturday, December 15, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Weldon Haddix Funeral Home with Rev. Ted Burchett and Rev. Charles Tone officiating. Final resting place in Pine Grove Cemetery. Arrangements made through Weldon Haddix Funeral Home of Albany.
