Mary Irene Fairchild, 84, New Castle, Indiana and a native of Albany, passed away Friday, December 21, 2012 at Select Specialty Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was the daughter of the late Willie and Bertie (Cash) Lewis and attended Spiceland Church of the Nazarene.

She is survived by her husband, Wallace Fairchild; a son, Danny (Faye) Fairchild; a daughter, Joyce (Don) Lacy, all of New Castle, IN; three brothers, Jim (Phyllis) Lewis, Iowa City, IA; Clayton (Virginia) Lewis, New Castle, IN; Howard (Leila) Lewis, Hagerstown, IN; three sisters, W. J. Howe, Hagerstown, IN; Wanda (Ronnie) Lee, Eaton, OH; Karen (Tim) Hamilton, New Castle, IN; also four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, two step-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Friday, December 28, 2012 at 3 p.m. at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service with final resting place in Circle Grove Cemetery in Spiceland, Indiana. Arrangements made through Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service of New Castle, Indiana.
