Harlan “Doc” Randolph Cope, 76, Byrdstown, Tennessee and a native of Albany, passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was the son of the late Stanley and Ollie Mae Cope and was also preceded in death by three brothers, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Myra Neal Cope; two sons, Jimmy (Donna) and Scott (Sharon) Cope, all of Byrdstown, TN; a daughter, Judy (David) Moon, Pall Mall, TN; two sisters, Letha (Tab) Easterly, Niceville, FL; Rita Graham, Albany; two brothers, Danny “Tucker” (Carol) Cope, Byrdstown, TN; Printis (Barbara) Cope, Muncie, IN; also 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, January 5, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Brown Funeral Chapel with Bros. Austin Flowers, Howard Buck and grandson Patrick Cope speaking. Final resting place in Amonett Cemetery. Arrangements made through Brown Funeral Chapel of Byrdstown, Tennessee.
