Lonnie Bee Thrasher, 58, Albany, passed away Thursday, January 3, 2013 at his home. He was a native of Cumberland County, son of the late Hershel B. and Bessie Lorene Groce Thrasher and was also preceded in death by a brother, Stanley Thrasher. He was a member of Albany Independent Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy Parrigin Thrasher, Burkesville, KY; six sisters, Elsie (Mervin) Dyer, Jane (Larry) Dyer, Vellas (David) Arms, Stella (Gayron) Scott, Lesa Thrasher and Jody (Allen) Humphrey, all of Burkesville and Della (Scott) Delaney, Cookeville, TN; a brother, Frankie (Teina) Thrasher, Burkesville, KY; special niece, Darlene Arms and special friend, Treva Scott.

Funeral services were held Sunday, January 6, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Norris-New Funeral Home in Burkesville with Bro. Sam Booher and Bro. Bob Thrasher officiating. Final resting place in Perkins Cemetery in Cumberland County. Arrangements made through Norris-New Funeral Home of Burkesville, Kentucky. Online condolences may be made at www.norris-new.com.
