Eight members of the Clinton County Band program successfully auditioned for placement in Lake Cumberland Music Educators’ All District Honors Band January 3 – 5. Students rehearsed and performed music at Somerset High School under the direction of Chris Hedges and Dr. Steven Sudduth from the University of the Cumberlands. Jazz Sell (7th grade Trumpet), Cassidy Key (8th grade Flute), Brooke Little (8th grade Trumpet), Mikayla Hicks (8th grade Euphonium), Dawson Waid (8th grade Baritone Saxophone), Kaylee Burchett (High School Clarinet), Christan Smith (High School Contrabass Clarinet), and Matthew Perdue (High School Tuba) did an excellent job representing Clinton County in this elite ensemble. Congratulations to these fine young musicians!
