Neckties were in abundance last Wednesday afternoon as students, faculty, staff and a host of the general public gathered in the Lindle Castle Gymnasium at Clinton County High School to attend a memorial service in honor of Mike Anders.

Anders, who was well known for his love of neckties, died January 6, along with two passengers, Duane Shaw, of Albany, and Charise Peoples, of Indianaloplis, when the Beechcraft airplane Anders was piloting crashed into a house in Florida.

Anders, a spanish teacher at C.C.H.S., was also the boys’ golf coach as well as the coach for the school chess club.
