Shelia Jean Willis Stearns, 54, Burkesville, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, February 9, 2013 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green. She was a native of Barren County, daughter of the late Bobbie Odell and Madaline Thacker Willis. She was a member of Rose of Sharon United Methodist Church and a member of the Hegira Homemaker Club.

She is survived by her husband, Benny Stearns; a daughter, Kayla (David) Brown, both of Burkesville, KY; a son, Dusty Stearns and friend Brittany Grimes, Murfreesboro, TN; two grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Dakota; three uncles, Roy, Paul and Millard Willis, all of Burkesville; seven aunts, Legean Thacker, Hazel Smith, Linda Riddle, and Phyllis Roach, all of Burkesville, KY; Irene Spears, Indianapolis, IN; Judy Rush, Louisville, KY; Margie Thompson, Glasgow, Kentucky.

Funeral services were held Monday, February 11, 2013 at Ballou and Stotts Funeral Home with Millard Willis and Bro. David McCarty officiating. Final resting place in Rose of Sharon Cemetery.
