Lurie Flynn Taylor, 92, Albany, passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at Clinton County Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Green and Lelia Clark Flynn, a native of Wayne County and a member of Albany Church of Christ. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Kenneth Upchurch; her second husband, Sam O. Taylor; a daughter, Sandra Brown; five brothers, Herbert, Otis, Herstel, Ernie and Leamon Flynn; and a sister, Georgia Hoeflich.

She is survived by four sons, Leland Carl “Speedy” Upchurch and Jamie (Kathy) Taylor, both of Albany; Larry Dean (Ruth) and Bill (Vicky) Taylor, both of Monticello, KY; two daughters, Lois (Jim) Cantrell, Science Hill, KY; Linda Jean Withers, Columbia, KY; a brother, Freeman (Wilma) Flynn, Monticello, KY; a sister, Lossie Tucker, OH; also 16 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Friday, February 15, 2013 at Campbell-New Funeral Home with Bro. Tom Nelson officiating. Final resting place in Davis Chapel Cemetery. Arrangements made through Campbell-New Funeral Home of Albany. Online condolences may be made at www.campbell-new.com.
