School board holds call meeting

Clinton County Board of Education met in special session on Friday afternoon with two items of business on the agenda and only one to be voted on. Three of five members were present for the meeting, which lasted approximately three and-a-quarter hours.

The only items that was voted on and passed unanimously was the school allocations teacher per student ratio, or class size for each teacher.

The board members then had an over three-hour work session on two items, including student achievement and food service prior to adjourning late Friday afternoon.

The next regular meeting of the Clinton County Board of Education is scheduled for Monday, March 11 at 5 p.m. at the Central Office board room and is open to the public.
